Sponzu Helps Non-for-Profits Raise Funds, Create Exposure
Online, February 10, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Sponzu.com, a new crowdfunding site that was launched in December 2010 is off to a great start. Only a few weeks after it's debut on the web, the site has attracted a number of non-for-profit organizations that are seeking exposure and funding.
Gaia Psychology Foundation, Green Theater Collective, and My Sister's Place, are among the organizations that see the benefits of Sponzu's unique approach to crowdfunding.
"I think the concept is wonderful. I love the idea of supporting projects I am passionate about even though I can not financially afford to," says an idea supporter who just contributed 10 cents to an organization by watching a 30-second video ad.
This is precisely what Sponzu's mission is all about as stated on company's website - "We want to help people realize that difference can be made without significant capital investment. By sharing a small fraction of their time anyone can make a dream come true."
