Online, July 28, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Starlista Music Group formally just an artist management & booking company has changed their focus to Writing, Production, and Music Publishing. Lead writer John Cappucci talks about the changes.

Q1: What services does Starlista Music Group currently offer interested bands and artists?

John:
Currently our main focus is on song development, writing, production, music publishing, and song placement. We are however still planning on managing a few artists that we have worked with.

Q2: Why has the company decided to switch their focus from management to song development, writing, and production?

John:
I have always been a writer and enjoyed that aspect of music more than any other, so after many years of playing in many bands and then working on the business end, I guess I just finally figured out that this is what I love most about music. I kind of feel like the production of music keeps getting better and better, but the song quality keeps getting worse even though there is much more music now out there than ever. It feels like a lot of artists just write enough songs to make up an album then cut the record and start playing show after show. I think musicians really need to get a good collection of songs then ask themselves: "Which are the best five songs?" and "why?", maybe get some feedback from people before dropping thousands of dollars on a great sounding record with the first five song they wrote. I really want to help artists in everyway I can to develop songs that are great, instead of just accepting the first version made. I believe Co-Writing with someone can really give new light and feeling to a song, leaving you with more options.

Q3: Who is your target audience for these new services you offer?

John:
Any solo artist or band looking to really get all they can out of writing and developing songs. We can write full songs for artists, we can co-write with the artist, or if they just need a bridge or a chorus, we can do that too. It's all about giving the artist choices, idea's, and maybe a new vision they never thought of before. Sometimes artists have some great riffs or parts to a song, but then have no clue what to do next, and that's where we come in.

Q4: Where are you located?

John:
Currently we're operating in the Metro Boston, Ma area. We are very flexible and can work over the internet if you are not from the area.
