Thursday 3/7/2013, MB2x Founder, CTO and Microsoft SQL Server Expert Steve Abraham will be guest lecturing at USF on SQL Server Performance Tuning from 11-12:15 in CWY 107. Steve is a local Tampa area entrepreneur and Microsoft technical expert.

Abstract
In this session, we will explore the basic architecture of SQL Server including how data is stored and accessed within SQL Server. Next, we will dive into the practical by discussing how to identify performance bottlenecks at a system level and then again at the query level and we will wrap things up by walking through the tuning of a specific problematic query.
