"Sun Snug": A Breathable, Machine-Washable and Quick Drying Vehicle Sunshade

Numbers can be so difficult to comprehend and the Internet claims there will be 2 billion on the highways around the world by 2035. The number of vehicles (cars, trucks, RV’s, etc.) on the road today in the United States is 253 million with an average age of 11.4 years. Both of those numbers are expected to grow incrementally in the future. Those numbers give a good estimate of the potential for a product like Sun Snug. The Sun Snug is a breathable, machine-washable and quick drying polyester and nylon opaque material that prevents the passage of light while blocking up to 100% UV rays. This allows air to flow through the product and keeps interior temperatures comfortable.
The Sun Snug is different from other sunshades in the marketplace. It uses clips to secure it rather than just suction cups. Four clips run along the top of the sunshade, and together, hook the sunshade to the window. These clips slip and clip over the top edge of the slightly lowered window, and will not harm the glass. The Sun Snug can be pushed to one side (much like a curtain) since the clips on the top can slide along the top of the window. It can also be rolled up vertically or horizontally. When rolled up vertically, two straps on the top will hold it in place. When rolled up horizontally, a strap on the side will hold the Sun Snug in place. These straps hold the Sun Snug via Velcro® type fasteners. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Sun Snug.
The Patent Pending Sun Sung was invented by Solmi Roh of Cypress, CA who said, “I have a prototype which works exceptionally well and anyone using it will never again be without it. The theme fabrics are available in a variety of different colors and patterns. Sun Snug is easy to install and remove and works perfectly.”
