Sara holds a Bachelor's degree in Oboe Performance and a Master's degree in Conducting from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and spent her time in graduate school teaching group piano, theory and eartraining labs. Since earning the Master's degree, she has worked as a private teacher, a freelance oboist, and as Music Director for a church in Los Gatos.
