Selected by the Techweek team and an Executive Advisory Board made up of ten Toronto-based tech leaders, the Techweek100 Toronto-Waterloo list spotlights the various important roles needed to create, energize and maintain a robust innovation ecosystem. In a new 2016 award structure, this list recognizes three categories, comprising of 50 Innovators, 25 Cultivators and 25 Ambassadors, as follows:

"Toronto is the third largest tech hub in North America and growing quickly. Considering this, we enlisted the help of ten of the most respected names in Toronto's technology ecosystem to assist in the selection process of our Toronto-Waterloo Techweek100 list. Who knows the city better than the people that have grown to see success within the city itself?"
