The Historic Darlington Apartments to Host First Annual Music Fest to Benefit Food Bank
On Saturday, June 11, 2011, The Darlington Apartments, home of the iconic Atlanta population sign, will host Can-a-palooza: The 1st Annual Darlington Music Fest to raise funds for the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
Online, May 18, 2011 (Newswire.com) - On Saturday, June 11, 2011, The Darlington Apartments, home of the iconic Atlanta population sign, will host Can-a-palooza: The 1st Annual Darlington Music Fest to raise funds for the Atlanta Community Food Bank. The concert will feature local musicians including Free Worship, GG and Friends, Mark Scott, ObieOne BornAgain, Rollie, SÓ"rah, Shamora, Steven McKnight, Swagg Effect, Tia Lynch and Vincent Stringer Band. Admission is free and food and drinks will be sold, all proceeds benefitting the Food Bank.
"Our building is conveniently located on Peachtree Street and our population sign has been a landmark for decades. We decided to use these great assets to help raise funds and collect food for the Food Bank while showcasing some great local musical talent," said The Darlington Manager Brian Wade.

The Darlington Apartments are located at 2025 Peachtree Road NE. All attendees are encouraged to ride MARTA due to limited parking.
