The Life-Saving Oxy Gulls
Oxy Gulls is a compact and portable oxygen device for those who need immediate oxygen in order to survive.
Online, April 18, 2014 (Newswire.com) - In many incidents some victims need oxygen immediately or the consequences could be deadly. Those who suffer heart-attacks or have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) or asthma need a device that can be easily carried and also give oxygen quickly. Oxy Gulls is that device. It is a compact, portable, personal device that delivers breathing oxygen to a person for a relatively short period of time. The Oxy Gulls is styled like eyeglasses and has a lever-activated oxygen canister nasal respirator. The Oxy Gulls can be a potential lifesaver for persons suffering heart-attacks, severe episodes of (COPD), asthma, and by persons fleeing a burning building. Televised test marketing has been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Oxy Gulls.
The Patent Pending Oxy Gulls was invented by Pearl Polto of Philadelphia, PA, who said, "The Oxy Gulls has a pair of protective eyeglass frames which support a nasal respirator that descends and widens to cover the wearer's nose and nostrils. Mounted to the top of this respirator cone is a small, detachable and replaceable canister or cylinder of oxygen. Above the oxygen canister is a hand-operated lever. An upward pull on the hand-lever punctures the oxygen canister and oxygen comes hrough the nasal respirator. The oxygen supply is intended to last for several minutes."
The inventor added, "One advantage of the Oxy Gulls is that it is compact. It can easily be carried in a pocket or purse. Another advantage is that it is so easy to use."
