On November 29th, SFAMA will be hosting the event: "Your Marketing Career: Live the Life You Envision." We will hear the inspirational story of Jennifer Remling, author of Carve Your Own Road, Do What You Love & Live the Life You Envision. She will guide us through learning how to - in spite of the fact that a reported 80% of us do not - find the work that we enjoy and which falls in line with our own passions. There appears to be an "epidemic" facing the working professional today -that even while being successful by most people's standards, many of us are truly disconnected from what we really wish to endeavor in life. Thus, Ms. Remling will discuss how to reconnect with our passions and expand our own career opportunities.

Please join the SFAMA and listen to Jennifer tell her story; and how you can use social media tools like LinkedIn to achieve your next best career placement. She will share how she progressed from college to a new world of self-discovery, and on to become Director of Global Recruiting at AKQA.
Specifically, you will learn how to:
• Define what you love to do, professionally
• Actually Enjoy your work - "Let go and let your career vision evolve," while opening yourself up to new possibilities.
• Use LinkedIn and other social media to promote yourself and land your dream job
