The Queen Project was started when all three ladies decided to reach out to each other in an effort to help with their respective charities. Deborah Cox clarifies the origin of the project, "we are all very active with our own charities. Kelly champions stroke prevention, Tamia and her husband have spent a lot of time and resources working with children, and I am very passionate about preventing the abuse of women. With one conversation we realized that we had to create a platform to encourage other women to join in and lend their voice to change."
