Two Days of Pure Bliss at a Deliciously Tempting Wine and Food Festival

Benefiting Feed the Children's "American Feeding Americans" Campaign and Putnam Community Action Program

No need to go to Italy or Martha's Vineyard for a quick getaway. Instead, attend the charitable Putnam County International Wine & Food Festival brought to you by Greenergy Productions, LLC. For two days, be whisked away to a family friendly wine country that is conveniently located for you on Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 10:00am to 7:00pm and Sunday, August 14, 2011 from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Feed the Children is a nonprofit relief organization that delivers food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to children and families affected by famine, war, poverty or natural disaster. By 2009, Feed the Children had distributed more than 111 million pounds of food and other items to children and families abroad and at home. This same year their "Americans Feeding Americans" campaign was launched in order to help fight hunger in America after the economic downturn. The Putnam Community Action Program is an anti-poverty program dedicated to serving the residents of Putnam County who are struggling to support themselves and their families.

These two charities could assist many more people by the profit from the Putnam County International Wine & Food Fest. Taking place at the Putnam Country Veterans Memorial Park, this festival includes wineries, local and international retailers, food, and arts and crafts vendors. Adults can enjoy wine tastings as kids play in the children's activity area with blow-up houses and games. Local bands will play live music throughout the day with special guests Cecelia Calloway, daughter of the late legendary Cab Calloway, and Mike Mills with world drum and music ensemble, Rhythms From the Heart.

Ticket prices include parking, wine tasting, keepsake wine glass, event program and a gift bag. Hurry, early bird tickets are only $20 for a one day pass and $40 for a two day pass and are only available for a limited time.
