Valery Ortiz joins the new Latina drama You Can Call Me Eve

Valery Ortiz joins the cast of Michael Coulombe's new latina drama You Can Call Me Eve. Valery Ortiz currently known for portraying Raquel in the original series Hit the Floor, which airs Monday nights at 10om EST on VH-1. She is also known for her role as 'Madison Duarte' in the former Nickelodeon TV Series South of Nowhere. Ortiz will be play the lead Rosa Sofia Garza de Santiago in You Can Call Me Eve.

You Can Call Me Eve is the story of Eve, born Rosa, who changes her name to help deal with the pain of her past. On the day of the funeral for her husband Carlos, Eve must relive the past to help her heal in the present. You Can Call Me Eve is written and will be directed by Michael Coulombe, writer of Eden Falls, (which he co-wrote with Martin Rogers, and Victor Miller of the original Friday the 13th.)

You Can Call Me Eve also stars Eva Tamargo of Passions and Tyler Perry's The Have & Have Nots which currently airs on Tuesday nights at 9pm EST on The OWN Network,and Academy Award Winner Olympia Dukakis. It is produced by Shaun Cairo of Shakir Entertainment Management.
