Vaughan De Kirby Sponsors Bike Giveaway

Online, June 9, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Attorney, author and child safety advocate Vaughan de Kirby is sponsoring a Bike Safety Essay Contest to raise the awareness of bike safety in children. Summer School Vocation is here and Vaughan says there is no more important subject for us to be putting our attention to than the safety of our children. Kids love their bikes and the fun and mobility that they provide, but kids and their parents need to remember the importance of bike safety.

The Bay Area is home to some of the best bicycle riding in the United States. We have great bike paths in every community. We are known the world over for our dirt bike trails from Monterey to Marin County. Now we need to work together to make the Bay Area the safest place for our kids on their bikes and that starts with education.

Vaughan is going to award a new bike to the boy or girl who sends us the best essay on why bike safety is important and how they will make sure they are going to be safe on their bikes this summer.
