White Cloud Rafting Expands River Facilities for White Water Rafting

Online, April 8, 2012 (Newswire.com) - White Cloud Rafting, a company that provides salmon river rafting trips based in Stanley Idaho has expanded their facilities to include a new two story boat house to facilitate faster times for clients to get on with their Salmon River whitewater rafting.

"We wanted a place which would allow us to quickly outfit out customers and keep things organized." said owner/operator Jeremy Boswell. "Hopefully this will help get people in and out and help us cut down on rigging time which will maximize the fun time for our customers."

The boat house is two stories - 20 x 30. Downstairs is the equipment room where the boats, life jackets, splash tops, wetsuits and booties will be stored while upstairs is the guide facilities - sleeping quarters for as many as five guides.

The river which is closed during the fall and winter for the salmon runs will open up Memorial Day weekend. In the meantime, Jeremy and his crew are making preparations for record number of rafters this season.

In addition to standard white water rafting offers, White Cloud has added a half-day fishing trip and a mini 2 hours tips. But the fishing trips won't start until June 15th.

What can rafters expect this season on the river?

"We're expecting good water but nothing too extreme due to the snow levels over the winter. Out of the last 10 years we're rating it about a 7 on a scale of 1 - 10."
