Magadon

William Little is following in the footsteps of some of his favorite authors such as; Dean Koontz, Terry Goodkind, Terry Brooks, Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson.  The novel starts in modern day Colorado where the protagonist Ben Smith has taken to the mountains to escape from an unexpected tragedy that strikes his family.  His love for the outdoors draws him to the mountains in hope of finding peace.  Intrigue and mystery soon ensue as he begins to discover that his quiet cabin is much more than just a mountain dwelling.  Fantasy begins to trickle in as Ben becomes caught up in events from worlds beyond.  As a quote from the books description reads "From detectives and dirt roads to dragons and destiny, the twist and turns of Bens adventures land him in a world of intrigue, fantasy, fury and fighting, he never thought possible. "

When asked what drove William to start the series in modern day Colorado opposed to the fantasy world he said:

I found William Little's novel Magadon refreshing and enticing. The way he managed to combine two genres while keeping a subtle transition and not losing focus either genre was incredible. The writing is excellent, the characters are well developed, deep and will draw you in. I can't say enough good things about Magadon. If you like Fantasy and or Mystery Novels you have to read Magadon!

Kyle Panteric, Reader

"My idea with this series was to take two of my favorite genres and blend them into a series that could be enjoyed by readers of all kinds.  I felt that starting the world in modern day Colorado would allow readers to connect with the characters on a deeper level that would then follow through into the fantasy world.  My hope is that by blending these two genres and worlds I can engage readers that might not typically pick up a fantasy novel.  I have found so much joy and entertainment through reading a writing and want to introduce that joy to as many as I can."

The follow-up novel is in the works and is planned for release next year.  William says: "I am excited about the second novel in the series.  It will be mostly based in the fantasy world where it will introduce many new characters and original concepts.  However I will continue with the mystery and drama from the first book that will not be lost on readers from other genres that have become engaged in the series.  I plan to color outside of the lines a bit to give readers a new world that they have not seen before.  I hope that they will enjoy reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it."   William's first novel has been released on Amazon.com and is soon to be featured on Epicstream.com.
