Wireless Inkjet Printers Creating a Sensation in the Electronics Consumer Market

The latest development in the world of computer peripherals, wireless inkjet printers, has understandably become a hit in the consumer market. At the same time, research on their efficacy is still going on.

A recent website http://www.mywirelessinkjetprinters.com/ announced the availability of wireless inkjet printers in the common consumer market. This invention has been in the pipeline for quite some time now, and now after a great deal of research and development, the invention has been launched for general consumption.

Stacy Smith, the owner of the site, is positively ecstatic about being able to bring the new advancement into the market. She says, "Researches and surveys have proved that wireless inkjet printers are decidedly the computer development of the decade. With everything going wireless shortly, these printers will be one more step ahead in doing away with cables on people's work desks."

Studies done with the wireless inkjet printers have shown positive results so far. Tests were conducted to check the efficiency of these printers over long ranges. It was found that the computer signals could be transmitted to the printers even if they were several feet apart. Both signals, back and forth, could be easily sent between the computer and the printer even if they were separated by a significant distance, even if they were not placed in the same room. In an experiment conducted by placing a wireless inkjet printer three rooms away in the same house (separated by walls of 4.5 inch thickness), it was found that the printer could still receive signals and start printing.

"This could change the definition of computer worktables," Smith adds. "In offices, where several people need to use printers, it would be possible to have just one strategically located wireless printer and everyone could trigger their printing commands on this one. This could save immense investments in starting up small and medium businesses."

Speaking of costs, these wireless inkjet printers cost from less than $100, which makes them somewhat cheaper than the traditional cabled printers sold by some big brands. They are available with the printer-scanner combination as well, which makes them better value for money to the average consumer.

"The technology is still improving," Smith says. "Even though tests have proved that these printers work well and despite the large number of sales they have achieved, there are still developments going on as regards their range and their quality. However, as these developments become common, it is quite possible that the printer prices will go up also."

Concerns about slight lags between giving the command and the print operation beginning still exist. However, these are the little creases that are hoped to be completely removed by new advancements in the world of wireless inkjet printers. Efforts are also on to develop wireless printers that could work with different kinds of connections. For now, these work with USB connections and Wi-Fi signals.
