Zimplistic's Rotimatic Now Able to Make Tortillas and Gluten-Free Flatbreads

This kitchen robot gives fresh and warm flatbreads in 90 seconds

Zimplistic, maker of Rotimatic, world's first fully automatic flatbread making robot announced the launch of tortillas and gluten-free flatbread features at CES 2019 in addition to the list of varied flatbreads already made by Rotimatic. CES 2019 is the world's gathering place for all those who thrive on the business of consumer technologies. This automatic flatbread making robot is able to mix, knead, roll and provide hot fresh flatbreads such as rotis, tortillas, pizzas, puris, pearl millet flour flatbreads and more in 90 seconds. A key component of Mexican cuisine, a tortilla is a thin round flatbread made from flour, wheat or corn. Rotimatic is currently able to dispense ready to eat tortillas made from flour. The gluten-free discs made by Rotimatic can be baked, roasted or fried as per one’s preference.

“Since the time we launched Rotimatic, we have been getting suggestions to introduce other flatbread variants like tortilla, especially from USA, our key market. A lot of our customers and prospects, being gluten intolerant, have also requested us for gluten-free recipes to the benefit of better health,” said Pranoti Nagarkar, Founder and Co-CEO, ZImplistic about the new feature launches.

CES is the perfect platform for us to exhibit Rotimatic’s capability and potential. With addition of gluten-free and tortilla to the existing list of recipes, Rotimatic is able to cater to the wide spectrum of flatbreads which is consumed all over the world,” said Rishi Israni, CEO and co-founder, Zimplistic.

A learning machine that is AI and IoT enabled, Rotimatic is programmed to mirror human judgment in the flatbread preparation mechanism. Recently having launched in Hong Kong and Europe, Zimplistic has now expanded their reach across 20 countries.
