Silanna Qualifies Laser Dicing Capability for Sapphire and Quartz Wafers

Online, August 18, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Located in Brisbane, Australia, Silanna's facilities have laser scribe and break capability as well as prototype integrated circuit assembly resources such as die and wire bonding.

The laser scribing service may be of particular interest to LED manufacturers who use sapphire wafers. Sillana is able to dice quartz and sapphire wafers from to 2 to 6 inches in diameter.
